Abstract: This paper develops the principles for dividing conglomeratic oil reservoir development phases and proposes the quantitative limits for determining the phases. Basod on the work, the development phases for 26 main conglomeratic oil reservoirs are divided. Because only a few of Karamay oil reservoirs are in the fourth phase at present and more than 2/3 oil resrvoirs are still in the third phase, this paper emphasizes on discussion of development pattern in the third phase and summarizes some importnt quentitative relationships.
