Abstract: Using modern analysis methods,a great number of complex zeolite group minerals arc identifled in details,and their lateral and vcrical distribution summarized. The authors suggest that formation of the zeolites is mainly due to alteration and hydration of the volcanic materials,and also due to the buriaJ and thermal histories.
