Abstract: In view of the special seismic geological conditions of thick desert area in hinterland of Junggar basin and the needs of exploration of the Jurassic and Cretaceous lithological reservoirs, high?density vibroseis acquisition test is carried out. Using shot pre?design, vibroseis low frequency design, vibroseis slide scanning and seismic data quick inspection and evaluation technologies, the vibroseis efficient high?density 3D seismic acquisition is performed in this desert area, and available data quality has been significantly improved. The test proves that the high?density vibroseis acquisition is feasible in thick desert area of hinterland of Junggar basin
