Abstract: Ln recent years, many spotopollen fossils have been discovered firstily in Shiqiantan formation and Liukeshu for-mation of Upper Carbonifetous in Kelameili area,Junggar Basin. Three sets of sporopollen assemblages in the Upper Carboniferous have been constructed ftom below, based on intervals of ptoduced them and individual specics coexisted in combination with the previuos informations aoout them found in Batamayineishan formation. These are :1 )Remy8-poriles-. Striatolebachites- Relusotrietes 2 ) Striated disaccate pollen-Cordaitina-Remysporiles; 3) Remnysporiles-Cordaitina-Geminospora. These three sets of sporopolen assemblages contain not only molecules similar to Angara flora province and Euramerian flora province, but also Gondwana flora province, indicating transitional characteristics of flora of Kelameili area.
