AN APPROACH TO RESERVOIR TYPES IN NORTHERN TARIM UPLIFT BELT

Abstract

Abstract: On the basis of analysis of petroleum reservoirs existed within Northern Tarim uplift belt, a classification and evaluation tor them has been taken and favorable areas for different types of the reservoirs in this region are presented. It is considered that the dominant types in this uplift belt could be anticlinal and buried hill ones. Therefore, the most important tesk of more recent exploration will be to strengthen studies of these two types of reservoirs.
