FORMATION, EVOLUTION OFTURPAN-HAMI BASIN AND ITS PETROLI FEROUS PROSPECTIVE EVALUATION

Abstract

Abstract: Turpan-Hami Basin is a continental faulted intermontane basin within Junggar-Turpan plate, From Late Permianto Mesozoic and Cenozoic,it was undergoing four stages with developing three scurce sequences of Upper Permian,Up-per Triassic and Lower-Middle Jurassjc. The North Depression, being a source-sag domain characterized by multiperidsuperpositions of Late Permian,Late Triassic, and Early-Middle Jurassic, will be a main area for prospecting big ormedium oil and gas fields from now on. Tuvkexun Depression js a source sag of Late Permnian. Wubao Depression is a-source sag of Late Triassic.
