Abstract: Northeast Tarim Basin means the Tabei platform - uplift belt which consists of Kuluketage uplift, Tabei uplift and Keping uplift from east to west. This paper mainly discussed the Tabei uplift. It underwent pre - sinian period of geosynclinic development , development and disintegration of platform from upper Proterozoic to later period of lower Palaeozoic, development of geosyrtcline and platform in upperpalaeozoic and development of basin and mountain from Mesozoic to Cenozoic. More than ten times of structural movement had happened among these Periods of geological time and formed various types of unconformity, weathering zone and other contact relationship between different layers. It exists many suite of source rock and hydrocarbon-generating association among Cambrian to Ordovician, carboniferous to Permian and Triassic to Jurassic Period. The ideal source area is around Manjiaer and the multistructural movements created a good condition for hydrocarbon accumulation in Tabei uplift.
