Abstract: Oil fingerprints technique is based on oil fingerprints differences of individual zone and fingerprint variation characteristics of commingled oil, combined with different proportion of artificial formulation made in laboratory, and a calculation model has been established. Then the contribution allocation of individual zone can be directly determined. The results showed that the errory between artificial formulation and oil fingerprints calculation is less than 10% for two zones commingled oil well, while it is less than 13% for three zones commingled oil well. Besides, the errors between fingerprints calculation result and logging result is less than 15% too. So this technique can be used to calculate the contribution of individual zone in commingled oil well, and monitors the performance of individual oil producing zone.
Key words: commingled producing, crude oil analysis, individual zone testing, fingerprints technique
