Abstract: Petroleum accumulation system is a natural subsurface petroliferous system which includes all the essential elements such as source rock, flow-conducting system and trap, and the effective configurations among them. The source rock, flow-conducting system and trap of the Eopaleozoic and Neopaleozoic petroleum accumulation systems are isolated in Tazhong area, in which the petroleum of Eopaleozoic comes from single source, whereas that of Neopaleozoic from multiple sources, shaping three-body systems, respectively. The hydrocarbons mainly come from the source rocks in slope of northern Tazhong area by lateral migration along the unconformity and the Silurian sandstone followed by up-ward migration along the faults, finally, entering into the Eo-and Neo-Paleozoic pet roleum accumulation systems in Tazhong area, Tarim basin.
