Abstract: Injecting dry gas into condensate gas reservoir with high oil content under high pressure can slow down the decline rate of formation pressure, restrain retrograde and improve ultimate recovery of condensate oil. As the best method to develop condensate gas reservoir with high oil content, this paper proposes a method for using gas?drive characteristic curve to study the production performance of condensate gas reservoir. The case studied results are used to verify the reliability of such a gas?drive characteristic curve pattern by the production performance data from Yaha?23 condensate gas reservoir, and develop the relationship between cumulative condensate oil and produced gas?oil ratio. When the abandonment pressure is reached in condensate gas reservoirs, this method can be effectively applied to determine the recoverable reserves of condensate oil
