摘要: 四维地质空间是由人们所熟悉的三维地 质空间与时间轴共同组成。在四维地质空间中被记录下来的地质过程,是用于恢复地质空间的基础。在四维地质学的概念中,地质过程可用“时间链"来描述。对三维地质模型进行时间轴切片,就对某一时刻的地质意义做出解释。目前四维地质模型广泛应用了古构造、古地貌和沉积环境的分析中。

Abstract: 4D geologic space is composed of 3D space and time scale, by which the recorded geologic process is basis for geologic space recovery. In terms of concept of 4D geology, the geologic process could be described as the time chain. The geologic significance at a time can be explained by time scale slice up according to 3D geologic model. 4D geologic model has been widely applied to analyses of palaeostructure, palaeogeomorphology and depositional stting.
