THE FIRST SINO-FOREIGN JOINT VENTURES IN XINJIANG PETROLEUM HISTORY—Dushanzi Oil Company

Abstract: Dushanzi oil company was the first Sino-foreign(the former Soviet Union)joint ventures in Xinjiang petroleum industry at the end of 1930s.Because of no official contract or agreement, Chinese didn't obtain the equal position and condign respect. At the beginning of 1940s, owing to complex historical background, both China and the former Soviet Union requsted negotiation and signing official agreement, but due to quite different standpoint, they didn't reach a consensus.Looking back to this period of history, it leads us think more.
