Abstract: Yingmai-2 structure of Tabei area in Tarim basin is a dome anticline, characterized by complex structure, multistage and multigrade faults. The identification and explanation of the faults are difficult due to high dip of strata. In this paper, the trend-surface analysis technique is firstly applied to the identification of the faults, and the faults distribution in this area is described effectively.
