EXPERJENCE OF STABLE PRODUCTION FOR AREA ONE,EAST DISTRICT NO.7 RESERVOIR, KARAMAY FIELD

Abstract

Abstract: The experience in stable production in the 33-year production history for Area One, East District No.7 reservoir in Karamay oilfield is reviewed in this papei. The long period of stable production is achicved by means of production performance control, special management for each of the three areas after the second boundary extention, adjustment of areal and sectional contradictions, and recovery improvement in the late production period. The result of recovery for this reservoir is encouraging. The strategy used in the recovery of this reservoir can be adopted in the late production period of similar reservoirs.
