LITHOFACIES PALAEOGEOGRAPHY AND PETROLIFEROUS PROSPECT, JURASSIC, CHINA
    Tian Zaiyi, Wan Lunkun
    1993, 14 (2):  101-116.
    Abstract ( 134 )   PDF (1278KB) ( 358 )   Save
Based on the characteristics of tectonic setting, palacogeographic outline, sedimental lithofacies and stratigraphic sequence in China, the study and analysis of distribution sequencc and lithofacics of Jurassic and its petroliferous geologic conditions has been made. The Jurassic sedimentary provinces, bounded with Helan Mt.-Longmen Mt.-Kangdian uplift-Ailao Mt. are divided by the authors into eastern and western parts. The east is dominated by north-east, north-north-east oriented faulted basins, the west by near cast-west oriented intermontane besins. In early Jurassic, the coastline area in the east became a part of the Pacific, while the inland province became rift faults-depressions and inland depressed basins; Xizang(Tibet) area in the west was marine sedimentary province, Xin-jiang was inland one while the others were all intermontane basin sedimentary province. In late Jurassic, as uplifting of the castern contincntal crust and the Pacific plate subducted toward the continent, fierce volcanic activities occurred in thd east, forming a large of volcanic rocks or volcanic-sedimentary rocks in the basins. During that period, Xizang province remained as the same, but the occan area became smailer, the other basins would become shallower as a result of crust uplifting and long-term depositing, thus a set of red clastic substances were formed. Having analyzed tectonic setting and sedimentary environment of Jurassic, the authors point out that Jurassic is not only a dominant coal-generated sequence, but also is an important petroliferous one, having extensively favorable petroliferous prospects.

    1993, 14 (2):  133-139.
    Abstract ( 118 )   PDF (558KB) ( 298 )   Save
Through corrclation with others from domestics and abroad, the heavy oil in Karamay field is petrophysically characterized by relative low density, high viscosity and low polar compounds and vanadium nickel contents, indicating its special parent material and hydrocabon components vatiation under given conditions. It is paleogeotemperature and chemical environment of the rcservoir water in heavy oil bearing arcas to provide abundant geologic conditjons for existence and proliferation of bacterja and its attacking to hydrocarbons.

    Xia Youmin
    1993, 14 (2):  140-146.
    Abstract ( 103 )   PDF (524KB) ( 161 )   Save
3-D migration is a key step during 3-D data processing. Besides the migratoin method, another important factor that influenced the effect of it is 3-D migration velocity field which is provided with interactive system as a new method for rebuilding it. At present, "Tectonostratigraphic method" has been usually used to many domestic explored areas for building the field. However, this paper shows that "tectonostratigraphic method" is complicated for operation and have a lot of work to do, not suitable for processing velocitics picked from complexing structure and overthrust block districts. The paper presents the methods and steps of building 3-D migration velocity field with “Slice Method” on INTERBASE system of CGG. It is indicated practically that this new method is easy for operation,a good adaptability and effective for the velocity processing.

TYPE CURVES FOR PRODUCTION DECLINE ANALYSIS
Hu Jianguo, Wu Jianxia, Chen Yuanqian
    1993, 14 (2):  147-151.
    Abstract ( 182 )   PDF (365KB) ( 559 )   Save
New type cuIves of dimensionless cumulative prođuction versus dimensionlexs time for production declinc analysis are developed based on Arps’ decline equation. Decline index(n), initial decline rate (Di) and initial production (Qi) can be obtained by macthing field data with the type curves. The reliability of the type curves has been confirmed by well production data.

EXPERJENCE OF STABLE PRODUCTION FOR AREA ONE,EAST DISTRICT NO.7 RESERVOIR, KARAMAY FIELD
    Ma Xinben
    1993, 14 (2):  152-159.
    Abstract ( 140 )   PDF (589KB) ( 146 )   Save
The experience in stable production in the 33-year production history for Area One, East District No.7 reservoir in Karamay oilfield is reviewed in this papei. The long period of stable production is achicved by means of production performance control, special management for each of the three areas after the second boundary extention, adjustment of areal and sectional contradictions, and recovery improvement in the late production period. The result of recovery for this reservoir is encouraging. The strategy used in the recovery of this reservoir can be adopted in the late production period of similar reservoirs.

Taking the Upper Karamay formation of Area One,District No. 5 and Badawan formation of District No.7 in Karamay oilfield as exampies, the paper describes the application of refined dcvision of sedimentary facies in oilfield development. The paper puts emphasis on the procedure and experience in the optimal design of well pattern in the waterflooding planning of a new field and the ajdustment of well pattern in the late stage of reservoir recovery, based on the results of refined devision of sedimentary facies.

A NEW APPROACH FOR EXQUISITE APPRAISAL OF RESERVOIRS IN A SAME CLASS
    Jiang Lijang
    1993, 14 (2):  167-172.
    Abstract ( 71 )   PDF (432KB) ( 191 )   Save
The optimun selecting theory and model for Fuzzy dcsign is applied to appraise reservoirs in a same class. The relative sequence of core samples from reservoirs in a same class are determined in accordance with their values of membership, resulting in more detailed description of reservoir heterogeneities. The major procedure of the appraisal method is presentes in the paper. The result is encouraging when it is appilied to the Shaguanping carbonate reservoir,East Sichuan.

    Abstract ( 89 )   PDF (448KB) ( 153 )   Save
It has been 12 years since 1981 introducing integreted log instrument from Gearhart Co., England. This paper presents the achievements obtained by audacious technologica1 innovation to it on the basis of introduction, digestion and assimilation with the instruments from abroad. It is documented that this new technique for oil/gas prospecting can not only be highly efficient and high quality for scientific drilling, but also be quickly to divide oil, gas and water beds. Especially, low pressure, low permibility and light oil/gas beds can be easily found, thus improving velocity and accuracy for hydrocarbon prospecting.

EVALUATION OF PROSPECTIVE FOR NATURAL GAS OF XIAOQUZI AREA IN JUNGGA R BASIN
    Wang Guolin
    1993, 14 (2):  178-187.
    Abstract ( 88 )   PDF (719KB) ( 252 )   Save
Based on the structures and strata characteristics of Xiaoquzi area in Junggar Basin, the study of thermal alternation for three groups of gas source rocks has been made in this paper. It is considered that oil condensate and wet gas may be generated in Lucaogou formation of northern part of the area which made some contribution of natural gas resources to it. While Xiaoquangou group had few contribution duc to mature arca only occurred in the northern part. In late Cretaceous,a great quantity of net gas had been generated in Middle-Lower Cretaceous coal seams located in the pre-mountain seg, and there were nappe frontal faults as hydrocarbon migration pathways, which is an important gas source rock in this area. Therefore,it is concluded that sufficient gas source mainly occurred in northern part, possessing a good fitting between structure-forming period and gas-generating time, and a favorable gas bearing prospectives. Kalaza anticline and the foot wall of nappe frontal fault belong to best structures for gas besring prospectives.

    Abstract ( 115 )   PDF (798KB) ( 287 )   Save
Palaco-karst facies of corbonate rock has a high hydrocarbon bearing ability. Many oil and gas fields with high production are related to this lithofacies. The recent results in the study of development model, evolution, preservation conditions and reservoir types of paleao-karst facies are reviewed in this paper.
