Abstract: Hubbert's model may be used to predict production rate, cumulative production rate and recoverable reserves of oil and gas. However, he first assumed that the production rate Q or dNp/dNt can be expressed as quadratic function of cumulative production rate Np, namely Q=ANp +BN2p.The relationship is derived in this paper, based on the result of reference, and reappeared the derivation of Hubbert's model.
