摘要: 甲烷及其同系物的碳同位素组成有助于判断天然气的成因。本文总结了前人的工作及取得的成果,同时指出了各种方法的不足。作者认为,只有把地球化学解释与详细的地质解释结合起来,才能真正了解天然气的成因,只根据地球化学解释可能会得出错误的判断。本文用三个实例阐明,如果要真正搞清天然气的源岩及其成熟度,了解气藏的形成过程。就必须把地球化学解释与详细的地质解释结合起来。

Abstract: This paper summaried predecessor's study results about determining the origin of natural gas, and the shortcomings with available methods were pointed out. The author deems that carbon isotopic composition of methane and its it isoseries compounds contributes to do it.
