Abstract: The Southwest Tarim Basin belongs to Southwest Depression in regional structure.The conact relationship between upper and lower Tertiary and age ownership of Wuqia group, even many years work has been done in this area, have not got, fully and exactly conclusion till today.This paper discussed those problems on the basis of regional distribution of upper and lower Tertiary, results of well data and integrated study of seismic data, it also combined the typical data gathered from feild by author and concluded that the contact relationship between upper and lower Tertiary is an angle-unconfor-mity or slight angle - unconformity (pseudo conformity )，the age of Wuqia group belongs to Miocene Epoch (rather than) from Oligocene to Miocene Epoch.
