Abstract

Abstract: Thermal heavy oil recovery case study showed that there is better linear relation between lg²N_p and lglgQ_S,lgL_PN_p and lg₂Q_S during the certain stage of thermal heavy oil recovery, where N_p is cumulative oil production, L_p is cumulative liquid production, and Q_S is cumulative steam injection.On the basis of these linear relations, the formula can be derived to calculate each development index and to predict thermal heavy oil performance.
