Abstract: A complete system of methods used for oilfield development during high water-cut stage is presented. It includes three main contents. Of which there are some small specific items. The first is the study of methods of oilfeld development analysis. It includes:①study of oil water and oil-gas relative permeability; ② study of heterogeneity in oil reservoir; ③ analysis of recoverable reserves and recovery factor; ④ analysis of oil displacement efficiency and sweep efficiency; ⑤ analysis of increasing withdrawal rates in production wells; ⑥ analysis of water injectivity index in injection wells; ⑦ analysis of natural decline; ⑧ analysis of water storge rate and water displacement index; ⑨ analysis of reservoir pressure system; and ⑩ calculation of water influx into reservoir. The second is the study of remaining oil. It includes: ① study of macro-distribution of remaining oil; ② study of micro-distribution of remaining oil; and ③ study of saturation of remaining oil. The third is the study of adjustment methods for improving development effect in waterflooding reservoir . It includes: ① to augment mangement and combined adjustment; ② infill wells; ③ method of I0R;④ method of EOR; ⑤ downhole measures; and ⑥ horizontal wells. It shows that this system not only can be used to adjustment of a specific oil reservoir, but to adjustment of an oilfield during high water- cut stage. Used this system to adjustment of Sha Er 1~ 5 series of strata of southern zone in Pucheng oilfeld, a great success has been made. It proves that this system is scientific, advanced and operable and has an important value for application and dissemination.
