    Abstract ( 119 )   PDF (565KB) ( 315 )   Save
Rift system in northem Xinjiang includes Junggar, Turpan-Hami, li basins and some mountainous area among them, with length of 1 200 km in EW direction, width of 400 km in NS direction, the area of 25x 104km2 . These basins are seperated by Tianshan mountains system, but three basins connected by aeromagnetic anomaly map, and fommed a complex“trifurcate” strong magnetic anomaly belt. According to analyses of anomaly characteristics and sedimentary formation, it might be a reflection of Late Paleozoic rift system in northem Xinjiang.

Zhang Ximing, Liu Qingfang, Wang Guiquan, Ye Desheng
    1997, 18 (4):  302-306.
    Abstract ( 147 )   PDF (419KB) ( 174 )   Save
There are better oil and gas reservoir forming conditions in Mesozoic-Cenozoic in northem Tarim basin, Kuqa sag possesses basical petroleum geologic condition for foming giant oil and gas field, and medium-small type of oil and gas feld group may form in the rest area with better assemblage conditions. There are three distribution models in Mesozoic-Cenozoic oil and gas reservoirs. Varieous scales of reservoirs were formed in nine series of Sinian-Neogene, among which 80% are in Mesozoic-Cenozoic (mainly distributed in paleo-uplift and slope belt) . These indicated that there are broad oil and gas prospecting potential in Mesozoic-Cenozoic in Tarim basin.

DISCOVERY OF DICKITE AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE IN WEATHERING CRUST OF LOWER ORDOVICIAN, SOUTHWEST DEPRESSION IN TARIM BASIN
    Zhao Xingyuan
    1997, 18 (4):  307-312.
    Abstract ( 128 )   PDF (951KB) ( 211 )   Save
Dickite were only found in dolomite denudation pore in weathering crust(Lower Ordovician) in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia and Tarim basins. Developing state of dickite directly reflects development and conectivity of denudation pore when it is formed and temperature condition of overlying formation, so studying dickite is very impotant to oil/exploration. Discovery of dickite in Tarim basin indicates that Lower Ordovician weathering crusts in westem Tarim basin(especially in Bachu-Maigaiti) are the most favourable area for gas accumulation.

    1997, 18 (4):  313-318.
    Abstract ( 98 )   PDF (425KB) ( 317 )   Save
Based on gas oil- ratio characteristics of oil testing result, oil reservoir and. gas reservoir were discriminated for lack of PVT data in Gulong sag area. Moreover, on the basis of molar component of wellstream effluent, it is concluded that Putaohua oil-layer in area of Well Gu109 is a condensate gas reservoir with oil ring and medium condensate oil content according to comprehensive analyses of PVT phase diagram calculated by φ and Z value methods and PR state equation. Based on reservoir-forming mechanism of condensate gas reservoir, the favourable distribution area of condensate gas reservoir distribution was predicted.

Chen Junxiang, Qu Qiuping, Qiu Bin
    1997, 18 (4):  319-323.
    Abstract ( 84 )   PDF (387KB) ( 223 )   Save
On the basis of thermal evolution history of source rock, stuctural evolution history and diagenesis history of reservoir rock, this paper analysed formation and evolution of Carboniferous reservoir in Bashitop anticline, and established a“lower fault and upper fold" reservoir forming model. Mutiple movements of faulting in early stage are very important to formation of Carboniferous reservoir in Bashitop anticline, not only improving accumulation condition of reservoir, accelerating formation of trap, but linking up source rock and reservoir rock , playing a conductive role in oil/gas migration.

Ding Anna, Meng Qianxiang, Hui Rongyao
    1997, 18 (4):  324-329.
    Abstract ( 102 )   PDF (484KB) ( 245 )   Save
On the basis of study on geochemical characteristics of saturated hydrocarbon of oil and source rock in Bajjiahai arch and its adjacent area in Junggar basin , understandings about component of oil source ,hydrocarbon-forming environment, evolutional degree and migration model of oil are obtained. It is pointed out that. Middle and Lower Jurassic (especially argillaceous rock of Sangonghe fommation) in Bajiahai arch and Fukang sag are major source rock in Cainan oilfield, and these provide scientific basis for further oil/ gas exploration.

    Chen Zhongqiang
    1997, 18 (4):  338-347.
    Abstract ( 108 )   PDF (1501KB) ( 200 )   Save
This paper makes sequence stratigraphy analysis of Upper Devonian-Lower Carboniferous in southwestern Tarim,Bachu, Manxi, Hotan river, Tazhong and Tabei areas, and two sequences (corresponding to three-order sequences presented by Vail) were identifed. It is considered that Tarim basin have undergone two lange scale sea-level fluctuation. On the basis of sequence stratigraphy and biostratigraphy analyses, it is suggested that Paleozoic transgression of Tarim basin began at the Late Famenian in Late Devonian, and the age of“ Donghe sandstone”should be at the Late Famenian in I ate Devonian.

Lin Zhifang, Yu Qitai, Peng Pengshang, Zhang zixian, Wang Shouping
    1997, 18 (4):  363-369.
    Abstract ( 74 )   PDF (531KB) ( 248 )   Save
A complete system of methods used for oilfield development during high water-cut stage is presented. It includes three main contents. Of which there are some small specific items. The first is the study of methods of oilfeld development analysis. It includes:①study of oil water and oil-gas relative permeability; ② study of heterogeneity in oil reservoir; ③ analysis of recoverable reserves and recovery factor; ④ analysis of oil displacement efficiency and sweep efficiency; ⑤ analysis of increasing withdrawal rates in production wells; ⑥ analysis of water injectivity index in injection wells; ⑦ analysis of natural decline; ⑧ analysis of water storge rate and water displacement index; ⑨ analysis of reservoir pressure system; and ⑩ calculation of water influx into reservoir. The second is the study of remaining oil. It includes: ① study of macro-distribution of remaining oil; ② study of micro-distribution of remaining oil; and ③ study of saturation of remaining oil. The third is the study of adjustment methods for improving development effect in waterflooding reservoir . It includes: ① to augment mangement and combined adjustment; ② infill wells; ③ method of I0R;④ method of EOR; ⑤ downhole measures; and ⑥ horizontal wells. It shows that this system not only can be used to adjustment of a specific oil reservoir, but to adjustment of an oilfield during high water- cut stage. Used this system to adjustment of Sha Er 1~ 5 series of strata of southern zone in Pucheng oilfeld, a great success has been made. It proves that this system is scientific, advanced and operable and has an important value for application and dissemination.

    1997, 18 (4):  370-376.
    Abstract ( 80 )   PDF (476KB) ( 198 )   Save
An incomplete mirror-image reflection method was presented for solving the well testing interpretation of non-closed fault. The distance between testing well and fault and flow conductivity of fault can be determined by applying this method. This paper presented new concepts about fault effective conductive thickness and fault connectivity. The study results will be of great value in oil/gas reservoir description, numeric simulation and oil/gas field development.

AN ACCURACY FORMULA FOR CALCULATING FORMATION OIL VOLUME FACTOR OF ULTRADEEP RESERVOIR
Ling Jianjun, Huang Li, Wang Youfu
    1997, 18 (4):  377-379.
    Abstract ( 250 )   PDF (231KB) ( 180 )   Save
Fornation oil volume factor calculated with conventional method has bigger error is imreasonable because oil compressional factor is regarded as constant. In fact, oil compressional factor is in inverse proportion to fornation pressure, so we derived an accuracy formula for calculating formation oil volume factor by adopting equivalent compressional factor, and provided case history with it.

ORIGIN OF Low RESISTIVITY PAY ZONE AND ITS STUDY METHOD-An Example from Liaohe Oilfield
    Kang Zhiyong
    1997, 18 (4):  380-384.
    Abstract ( 147 )   PDF (384KB) ( 215 )   Save
Low resistivity pay zone includes two types of reservoirs, one is siltstone reservoir, the other is clayey sandstone reservoir. The resistvities of these two types of reservoir are similar to that of water layer because of high water saburation formed by strong capillary action and large inner surface area. After analysing the geologic characteristics of low resistivit pay zone in Jin 16 Block of Liaohe oilfeld, the author presented a method for discriminating low resistivity pay zone, that is, on the basis of forming conditions of pool and lithologic characteristics of reservoir, low resistivity pay zone can be identifed by using logging informnation and core data.

Zhao Fuzhen, Zeng Xiangmin, Chen Xinhua
    1997, 18 (4):  389-391.
    Abstract ( 91 )   PDF (244KB) ( 172 )   Save
Using core refreezing technology to refreeze unconsolidated core from watered out area and heavy oil area can make core shape, prevent volatilization loss of fluid in core, and be favourable to determine the parameters as fuid saturation and the like. But fluid expansion of core resulted from refreezing can destroy pore structure of core, make physical parameters before and after refreezing change. Based on correlation analyses, this paper discussed changing regularity of porosity, peme-ability and saturation etc, presented a correction equation of porosity and correction factor of peme-ability, put forward step correction method of saturation, providing convient conditions for oilfield to properly use physical analysis data of refrozen core.
