Abstract

Abstract: Results from the first case history of large-diarneter hole of extra-viscous oil recovery were technically and economically analysed, indicating that it is technically feasible considering inmature nature of extra-viscous oil recovery techniques at present, and compared with conventional wells, large-diameter hole of exira-viscous oil recovery can result in better economic benefits, higher oil/steam ratio and daily fluid production rate，and lower water cut.
