    1994, 15 (1):  1-9.
    Abstract ( 120 )   PDF (710KB) ( 292 )   Save
The anticline, fault and other structures of Triassic — Jurassic have not very developed in the southeastern slope zone of the northwestern margin of Junggar Basin. but there are nine types of sedimentary facies, thirty subfacies and nearly one hundred microfacies. They are arid fan. humid fan. braided river, meandering river, anastomosed river. fan-delta. braided delta. lacustrine delta and lacustrine floor fan. etc. The changes of lithofacies are frequent. and there are lots of unstable components and types of diagenesi with greatly changes in the elastic rock. Also. there were well developed stratigraphic pinch out, overlap. and unconformity. which make the area have the essiential geologic conditions that formed the concealed oil-gas trap. There were four types of concealed traps.perhaps existing in Trassic-Jurassic of the lithological trap. paleomorphologic trap and mixed trap. According to analysis of structural and s叫1- mentary characteristics of the northwestern margin in Junggar Basin, there were all concealed oil-gas trap in north and south of Karamay-Wuerhe fault and Wuerhe Xiazigai fault. but the most favorable are should be north slope zone of Manas Lake depression to south of Well Guaill4-Well241--Well Ba.165 —Well134 Well Xia40.

INTERPRETATION OF SEISMIC VELOCITY ANORMALY IN SOUTHERN MARGIN OF JUNGGAR BASIN
    Zhou Xiaoji
    1994, 15 (1):  16-21.
    Abstract ( 78 )   PDF (513KB) ( 232 )   Save
The southern margin of Junggar Basin is the area that developed seismic velocity anomaly in general. By analysing the geologic structures and lithologic characteristics of Fukang fault zone, it is ascertained that layer velocities of enormously thick thrust block (Upper Paleozoic-Mesozoic)and alluvial fan body distributed along the foot of the mountain are very high(>3 900m/s),they were two important factors which formed seismic velocity pitfalls. Considering the characteristics of steepness in lateral seismic velocity variations, the seismic velocity trends in southern margin of Junggar Basin were ascertained using interactive processing for layering to draw velocity sections, thus improving processing quality of seismic data and reflecting subsurface structural patterns more correctly. Seismic velocity pitfalls of Well Tai 3 area. Xiaoquangou anticline and Dubei anticline were removed and structural patterns of Dunan anticline and Xihu anticline further determined. It is advantageous to guide oil-gas exploration work in this area.

ORGANIC PETROLOOIC CHARACTERISTICS AND ASSFSSMENT OF COAL AND TERRESTRIAL ORGANIC MATTER OIL SOURCE ROCK
Mang Feiyu, Fu Jiamo, Liu Dehan, He Ping
    1994, 15 (1):  22-29.
    Abstract ( 134 )   PDF (675KB) ( 444 )   Save
Coal, terrestrial organic-rich source rock as well as marine and lacustrine sapropelic source rock are three type of source rocks in geologic bodies, which are characterized by organic matters in source rock significanly dominated by higher plants, being mainly typeⅢ kerogen, and composed of oilprone hydrogen-rich macerals (vitrinite, sapropelic maceral and super-micro liptinite) which control the oil potential and hydrogen poor macerals with no oil potential. Considering the complicated composition and structure of coal and terrestrial organic - rich source rocks, progressive (maceral, submaceral and supermaceral in turn) studies must be undertaken using fluorescent micrscope analysis technique first, combined with reflection and transmission electronic microscope analysis technique, to obtain an accurate evaluation of the source rock, Hydrogen-rich components of Jurassic coaly source rocks in Xinjiang are significanly dominated by vitrinite (certain amounts of super-microliptinite exist) and liptinite is comparatively abundant in dull shale. Therefore its oil potential cannot be neglected.

ORIGIN OF HYDROCARBONS AND ITS EXPLORATION IN CAINAN OILFIELD
    Wang Yutao, Lan Wenfang
    1994, 15 (1):  30-36.
    Abstract ( 194 )   PDF (483KB) ( 217 )   Save
The geochemical analysis and study show that gas from Cainan oilfield is coal-type associated gas, in which gas from Well Cai17 (Badaowan Formation) is possibly coal bed gas and oil generated from coal. The Middle-Lower Jurassic coal measures in Fukang sag are the main source rock. The slope zone in Fukang sag is advantageous area for 011 and gas prospecting. The coal seams in the Middle-Lower Jurassic are advantageous sequences for coalbed gas prospecting.

DISCOVERY AND GEOLOGIC SIGNIFICANCE OF KARAMAY APUS FOSSIL FAUNA
Yong Tianshou, Wei Jingming, Yang Ruigi, Li Xiaonan
    1994, 15 (1):  37-48.
    Abstract ( 409 )   PDF (623KB) ( 309 )   Save
A large number of Apus fossils were discovered in Upper Karamay Formation and Baijiantan Formation (outcrop) in Kararnay area. Xinjiang in 1964. According to symbiotic fish fossil, insect fossil and plant fossil, they were separately nominated Kararnay (Late Middle Triassic) and Baijiantan (F.arly Late Triassic) Apus fossil assemblages. These fossil assemblages were discovered in successions in south πiargin of Junttgar Basin, Tarim Basin, Tur pan Basin and Ordos Basin, and offered a new clue to correlation and classification of the Triassic. Inferred from sedimentary lithofacies characteristics. the Apus could be a type of hydrobios in fresh water-brackish water living in clean, transparent, warm and still shallow water area enriched with organic matters, which can be used as facies f咽sils of shallow lake.water-filled swamp.oxbow lake and river-delta environments.

A STUDY OF FEATURES FOR SEVEN DECLINE CURVES
    Yu Qitai
    1994, 15 (1):  49-56.
    Abstract ( 287 )   PDF (459KB) ( 394 )   Save
The mathematicai representatives of seven decline curves were presented in this paper. By applying a standard chart for a generalized decline type curve, a correlation, analysis and study of features of these decline curves has been made, which shows, ①The Arps decline curve is described using formula of prouction decline as well as anaiytic solution of cumulative production rate. Therefore, it is easy to use them, clear for showing types of decline and popular for application. The generalized decline type curve presented on the basis of it is of a wide coverage. ②The Kopitov and the Matthews decline curves corresponded to the curve of n=0.5 of the Arps' are applicable to a reservoir by water drive and gravity drainage. ③The Joshi decline curve is equal to the curve of n= 0 of the Arps' (i.e. the exponential decline). ④The Logistic and the Gomperts decline curves are inconsistent with the Arps’. for they all lie in range of n<0 of the Arps decline curve. They are applicable to reservoir with low viscosity under water drive. ⑤The Weible decfine curve is of great changes and wide coverage, even including the Arps decline curve, but it is only described using formula of production decline rather than analytic solution of cumulative production rate. Therefore, its appliction is restrained.

REASON ANALYSIS OF PRESSURE DECLINE IN DRILLING STEM TEST
    Wang Xinhai, Xia Weirong
    1994, 15 (1):  69-74.
    Abstract ( 109 )   PDF (373KB) ( 224 )   Save
In this paper, pressure decline reasons were analysed in drilling stem test. Pressure decline resulted from the for mation with non-flow boundaries, or the formation with matter characters changing bad in distant place from well, or dual medium reservoir, or multi-layered reservoirs with large difference in matter characters in DST. So long as shut in time was enough long the pressure decline resulted from the aforementioned reasons would vanish. Nonartesian well test data were interpreted with Horner’ s method and taking real flowing time to be Horner producing time. which might lead to pressure decline. it might v::mish with nonartesian well interpretation methods. Pressure decline was also caused by the two-layered reservoir with different pressure systems in DST.

Cheng Zhongping, Qu Aiying, Wang Kuanjing
    1994, 15 (1):  81-86.
    Abstract ( 71 )   PDF (731KB) ( 219 )   Save
Based on the characteristics of cyclic yield changes in production of a heavy oil reservoir by cyclic steam injection process, a self - adapting mixed regression model has been developed. This model is used to estimate the optimum parameters for heavy oil reservoir, fit and forecast yield by the process. Using it to fit and forecast the district D66 etc of Liaohe oil field, the satisfying results were obtained. The method possesses a guiding sinificance in drawing up a long - term plan of the heavy oil thermal recovery, annul plan and development program.
