Abstract

Abstract: By means of knowledge of plane analytic geometry, the formula for calculation of irregular polygon area of petroleum reservoir is deduced in this paper. And the main steps for it using CorelDraw software by programming are presented, including the key source codes. This study shows that this calculation method can give high-accuracy results, greatly promoting the work efficiency.
